- "Winter Creeklympics"' premiere was the least viewed of the entire series when it aired, receiving only 204,000 viewers. This beat the record low of 210,000 viewers set by "Afterschool Snackdown". This record was later beaten by "Copycat Carter", whose premiere was seen by only 142,000 viewers.
- The episode and its title are a play on the Winter Olympics.
- The Olympic rings in the episode are in different colors and inverted (2 top, 3 bottom). The colors are pink, purple, green, turquoise, and yellow, instead of blue, yellow, black, green, and red.
- Sewer luge is based on luge.
