Trivia[]
- The title card resembles that of the Adventure Time episode "King's Ransom".
- A different font is used for the featured voices section of the credits. This may be an error.
- J.P.'s thumbs-up as he sinks into the lava is a reference to Terminator 2: Judgment Day.
- The original storyboard by Verhagen had J.P. shed a tear when his grass wig blew away in the wind.[1]
Continuity[]
- Craig refers to the Timekeeper's sousaphone as a tuba once again, despite her being shown to be sensitive about it.
- Yustice's imagined body replacement technique leaves a log behind, a reference to the substitution Jutsu in Naruto. She previously did this in "In the Key of the Creek".
- When Jessica asks Craig if she can draw with him tomorrow, she says "Just like I drew it!", imitating Craig's tone from the original line in "Jessica Goes to the Creek" that became the post-credit sequence.
Errors[]
(9:38) Craig and Kelsey jump on more rocks than Jessica puts down.
