"The Great Fossil Rush"'s premiere was the least viewed of the series when it aired, receiving only 380,000 viewers, the lowest of season 1. This record was later beaten by "Fort Williams", whose premiere was only seen by 340,000 viewers.
Tony incorrectly states that trilobites are crustaceans; trilobites are actually general arthropods.
J.P.'s plan to clone dinosaurs and put them on an island named "Jurassic Playground" is a reference to Jurassic Park.
