Sleepover at JP's Gallery Transcript

"Sleepover at JP's" is the 23rd episode of the second season of Craig of the Creek and the 63rd episode overall.

Synopsis

JP invites his friends over for a sleepover, but it happens to be on the night of a huge game of Flashlight Tag in the Creek!

Plot

The episode starts with J.P. preparing for the sleepover in his house. Just after Craig and Kelsey enter J.P.'s house, J.P. hands out the dinner for the day, and the trio start talking about what should they do in the sleepover, with J.P. suggesting to watch Saturday Late Night Live. Suddenly, Laura comes over and starts telling a story to Craig, Kelsey, and J.P., and after she did, she starts setting up the beds for the trio. Craig starts telling a story about aliens, but a beam of light shines through the room, making Kelsey nervous. J.P. opens the door, only to reveal beams of lights. Bobby appears running and notifies the trio that it is "Flashlight Tag at the Creek". Craig and Kelsey decide to go, but J.P. has second thoughts due to the show he is supposed to watch. After negotiations, J.P. decides to go.

As soon as Craig, Kelsey, J.P., and Bobby arrive at the Creek, the game began. Numerous kids were caught, including Bobby. Later in the game, Craig, Kelsey, and J.P. spot a baby in the basket, who later reveals to be Tony. Kelsey and Tony start fighting, only for Kelsey to get caught afterwards, including Mortimor. Due to the length of the game, J.P. becomes anxious (as he is supposed to watch his 'favorite' show) in the process.

Kelsey and Bobby are brought to the "tree jail", with Boris guarding them. Craig and J.P. devise a plan to set them free, but later get caught. While at "tree jail", J.P. confesses to Kelsey and Craig that he wants to watch the TV show in order to introduce his mom to Craig and Kelsey. When he heard about it, Craig apologizes to J.P. for ruining his plans. In the process, it is revealed that Boris cries over the "drama", and sets the four free. As Craig informs Boris that he "can't tag us out of jail", Boris "takes jail out of tag" by lifting the tree. Craig, Kelsey, and J.P. run back at J.P.'s house. Eventually, J.P. notices something and opens the door, revealing his mother. J.P. introduces his mother to Craig and Kelsey, and she hands out souvenirs to all three of them. J.P. prepares his mother's dinner, and the episode ends with all five of them having a conversation at the dinner table.
