"Copycat Carter"'s premiere was the least viewed of the entire series when it aired, receiving only 142,000 viewers. This beat the record low of 204,000 viewers set by "Winter Creeklympics". This record was later beaten by "Dodgy Decisions", whose premiere was seen by only 120,000 viewers.
This is the eighth episode in which Jessica visits the Creek. She previously visited in "Jessica Goes to the Creek", "Jessica's Trail", "Creek Daycare", "Jessica Shorts", "The Ground Is Lava!", "Plush Kingdom" and "Trick or Creek".
